With close to 40,000 students, the University of Maryland can seem overwhelming and intimidating! RUF has been here for over 20 years, helping students find a community of friends who learn, play, and serve together. Scores of Terps have benefited from the closeness of the community as they have learned about Jesus Christ.

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a Christian student organization at the University of Maryland committed to helping students know and follow Jesus Christ and grow in their love and service of others. Whether you have grown up in the church or are just curious about what Christians believe, we welcome you and would love to have you join us. There's a bunch of great people to meet and many opportunities to learn and dialogue about the Christian faith including: large and small groups Bible discussions, service and mission trips, conferences, and tons of fun social activities. So, whether you are convinced, unconvinced, burned-out, bored, or skeptical, we welcome you.

RUF has had such a big impact on my life. I’ve made so many friends and memories, grown enormously in my faith, and found my life-long family.

Community is hard to find at a large campus, like UMD. RUF allowed me to foster real friendships with amazing genuine people. Worshipping and praising God with my brothers and sisters is a really valuable experience. If you’re reading this, join RUF.

RUF at UMD allowed me to become intimate with the body of Christ in a manner I would not have thought possible as I entered undergrad. Through corporate worship and fellowship, I learned what it truly means to put our identity first in Christ, and second in everything else. I am now blessed with lifelong friends who are so beautifully different from me, but rooted in the same soil.
